YOUR TRAVEL STORY

About This Website

ABOUT this WEBSITE. On this website you can:

1. Read about a beautiful enchanted place, the Galapagos Islands:

climate, different islands, conservation efforts, ecotourism, and more.

2. Get aware of the importance to save the Galapagos ecosystems.

3. Read about Ecuador.

4. See how important it is to switch to renewable sources of energy:

the green energy.

There are pages in English, in French, and in Polish.

HOW TO NAVIGATE through

my web pages:

1. On the left, there is menu

that opens to main pages.

2. From most of my menu

pages there are links to

other pages of my site,

and to places outside of

my website.

3. You are welcome to send me your input - questions, opinions, and

suggestions - through the “contact us” page (menu, left)

Example:

1. You come to Home page, you read the page through.

2. Go back to the top of the page and choose one of the menu (left)

pages: the Galapagos.

3. On the bottom of the page you will find links to other pages. If you click

on one the links it will take you to another of my pages. If the link leads to

a place outside of my pages, it will open in a new window.

Lets say you choose the link “Sea Turtles”: it will open a new page where

you will find some information about sea turtles.

On the bottom of the “Sea Turtles” page there some links. If you choose

the link “Ecuador”, a new page will open. You can read now about

Ecuador.

Every time when you want to return to the previous page, click the “back" arrow – top left of the screen.

4. Many pages have links to guide you to (an)other page(s), of the same

language, or of another.

5. The latest pages that I’ve added will always show

in my Galapagos Blog (the menu top left) and stay

there for some time. Eventually, they will be pushed

down by new pages. If you want to be informed about new pages once

they come, you can also use RSS. (Explanation about RSS is on the

“Galapagos Blog” page)

6. I am not trying to give my readers all the information on the subjects

included here. Nor is it possible. I merely try to get people to be interested

in several aspects that are connected with the Galapagos Islands. I hope

to instill in you willingness for further reading, whether through

library resources, or book stores.

Also, I would like you to know about the importance of protecting

our environment.

7. To read this whole website you need a bit of time, but if you like the

subject in general, I’m sure you will find it worthwhile.

Best Wishes to you and thank you for coming to my website!
